Gilbert Stirling Lee - Cricket anecdote

I knew that our Grandad was pretty hot at cricket and I am going to go through family photos to see if I have any of him in his 'whites'.  Back in the early 1960's, I spent the weekend in London with your father (my uncle Tom) and Joannie. On the Saturday evening a boyfriend called to take me to a dinner dance at the Hampstead Cricket Club and we were late leaving because Uncle Tom wanted to tell 'the boyfriend' all about his father and his cricketing prowess. I think wicket keeping was his priority.

Years ago I managed to obtain a copy of the Two Admirals - I think Tiggy (Ruth) had a copy too. I will copy all these emails to put in my family history file.
