In the UK Census of 1891, William Alexander, aged 53, is head of household living with his wife Marie (5) and three children. Son Theodore (23?) a banker’s clerk, and two daughters Elizabeth (16) and Maria L. (21). No sign of Katherine. William is listed as an Engineer (can’t read the first word) and they are living in Croydon.
