Major General Henry Heyman R.A.

From an email sent by Alastair Massie at the National Army Museum:

"Henry was first appointed to the Royal Artillery 18 June 1845, Lt 1 April 1846, Captain 29 Nov 1853, Lt-Col 29 Feb 1868, Colonel 14 July 1877, retired with honorary rank of Maj-Gen 1 Oct 1881, appears to have died early 1890s. Active service in the Crimea March 1855 onwards: staff appointment there as a brigade major Nov 1855 to July 1856.

Firepower! The Royal Artillery Museum (info@firepower.org.uk ) may have more details."
